The A146 at North Cove has been closed due to a large tree leaning into the carriageway.
Suffolk Highways have put a diversion in place and are asking motorists to plan their journey accordingly.
Tree surgeons are due on site tomorrow morning, Wednesday 16th October, to assess and remove the tree.
As soon as the tree has been removed the road will be reopened.
